A 5 course tasting menu paired with 5 wines
The 5 course menu;
To start - Jersey royal, blue cloud terrine with roasted onion, pumpkin seed granola, nettle sorbet
Fish dish - Duo of trout: BBQ Sea trout, miso glaze, cured sea trout belly tartare, tapioca cracker
Vegetarian option - BBQ Globe artichoke with a miso glaze, sea vegetable, salt baked beetroot tartare, tapioca cracker
Meat dish - Duo of lamb: Coal roasted lamb loin with spiced honey smoked aubergine puree, pickled samphire candied olive.
Slow roasted lamb, dried tomato & feta cheese pie, tzatziki
Vegetarian option - Coal roasted courgettes with dried tomato & feta cheese pie, tzatziki
Pre dessert - Roasted peach, buttermilk syllabub, blueberry sorbet, ginger snap
Dessert - Peppered strawberry scone, clotted cream, black tea ice cream
This menu is paired with 5 wines from Nutbourne Vineyard which is a local, family run vineyard and winery, with a collection of award winning still and sparkling wines. The estate has been making and producing wines for over 30 years and follows sustainable practices within all stages of their wine process. The Gladwin Family distribute their wines UK wide and we are proud to be hosting them alongside our tasting menu.
